The title basically says it all. I’m looking for ideas for a futuristic bed/mattress for my story. It shouldn’t be too elaborate, since I need it for my army headquarters. For a HUGE army. 😉 Please let me know if you have ideas!

Is it in a barracks? Perhaps the room looks empty, then someone can push a button beds fold down from the walls. Also the locker doors in the wall can open sideways with a thumbprint of the soldier who owns each one. So when everything (beds & lockers) are in closed position, it just looks like an empty room with various doors and switches.

I agree with Rachel! Another thing, make the mattresses made out of some sort of crazy material that can shrink up to a really small size, so that if they have to go somewhere for some reason, they can be easy to transport. Ya know?

Hey, that’s a perfect idea! Great for when the army needs to move around and everything, too. Then they can have shrinkable beds to go in their collapsible houses. 😉 Thanks!!!
