The Red In Our Lives

“I’ve got red in my ledger, and I’d like to wipe it out.”
-Natasha Romanoff, The Avengers
Just as the Black Widow has “red in her ledger”, we all have sin in our lives. Jesus is the only one who can wipe it out. We can’t do it on our own.

      1. Oh… Well, it would also have made sense if she had meant Communism, because… USSR… And evidently she’s just turned 30… My brother told me about a file from “Winter Soldier” that told her age… or something.

      2. She’s Russian, too… It’s a long story, and I don’t even know much about her, except that she used to be an assassin or whatever, and used her talents for anybody, pretty much.

      3. Yes! Actually, my mom doesn’t want me to watch it. Too much violence. So I’m holding out for Age of Ultron. You need to watch the Avengers before that comes out!!!!

      4. Ahhh… If only they’d do novelizations, right?! :-S
I will, probably. My dad is having us watch the single-superhero movies for backstory’s sake, first. 😉

      5. You don’t know much about Thor??? He’s got a hammer… and he’s from another world, Asgard. He was the blond guy in the “mother’s drapes” clip, with his cape and all that. The guy with too much hairgel is his brother, Loki. 😉

      6. Thor: “Take care how you speak. Loki is of Asgard, and he is my brother.”
Natasha: “He killed 80 people in 2 days.”
        Thor: “He’s adopted.”
That’s one of the best quotes in the movie right there. One of. 😉

      8. Okay, you may find this disappointing, but… *takes deep breath* Loki is kind of disappointing in Thor. They deleted all the scenes with his character development. Not. Cool.

      9. He was, a little, but after watching all the deleted scenes (ha-ha) I feel like they just cut out too much. Honestly, it could’ve been a longer movie, wouldn’t feel so rushed. But it was pretty good. Lady Sif was just… *sigh* I’m not even fangirling over Thor or Loki. 😛 Just the awesome independent warrior lady. Odin reminded me of my pastor. 😛
